More than 60 fishing communities will meet in Genoa, Italy, May 4 to 7, 2007 to discuss the sustainable fishing practices and to work on solutions to the problem of collapsing fish stocks worldwide.

The Slow Fish Conference is sponsored by the Slow Food Movement and the Terra Madre Foundation, which was created “to strengthen the network of food communities, cooks and universities and to support the continued development of Slow Food projects.
